Love this trail. Great all year long. Some areas do have pavement with tree roots popping up so be careful. Also connects to Owen’s Park near the schools in Williamstown
Nice , pleasant ride though suburban areas, places to stop if one wishes, level with interesting things to see and experience. Side trip into preserves and beautiful Swedenborg church. Missed the connector to the lower part ( thought trail short no wonder) I shell return!
Someone Special took me here summer of 2024 and it was a nice walk around the lake! Was going to come back in the spring unfortunately without that special someone ¿
Wasn't sure how it was going to be, but it ended up being very cool ¿ and a lot of neat things found along the way!! Probably will walk it again in the spring time!
This is a good place to hike all the trails for a couple hours! Great views!
I love the D&L and ride it often. I’m trying to finish the entire trail and went to complete the northern most section from White Haven to Mountain Top. Unfortunately, about a mile in the amount of downed trees becomes too much (must have been from a storm). I fought through it and walked my bike but it was arduous. Around 4 miles north there was an area with multiple downed trees over the path. It was impassable so I turned around and fought my way back. I’m sad that I’ll have to wait until it’s cleared (hopefully in the spring).
Trail is mostly in the woods. Flat and smooth. Small trail at the high school football stadium leads to a dog park & clean port-a-potty. Very pretty and relaxing ride.
The middle of the trail on Richmond st is on the road shared with cars. Needs a bike path on Richmond st to connect wheatsheaf to Lewis.
This was a great place to jog. I just did the loop, (not the tail part of it) and that was 2.5 miles. Benches along the way which I used to stretch before and after. The trails were pretty with the colorful fall trees. It was quiet until you get to the street part, but it’s a short distance.
This trail is well maintained & marked but there isn’t much to see as it follows the power lines through no man’s land. However!, the Cape May Zoo was really nice & free!
Parked at the Dennis Township Bike path train head. The parking area and trail were easy to find. However, there were only two marking spots in the small lot which could be an issue on busier weekends. Rode the trail to route 9 in Cape May before taking route 9 to the Lincoln Blvd beach entrance. The trail has quite a few road crossings on busy roads that will drop your average pace a fair bit. The trail is all paved and also includes mile markers at every .1 miles which is a very nice feature. Overall, a great trail to ride.
